A Revista Themis, periódico científico oficial Escola Superior da Magistratura do Estado do Ceará (ESMEC) publica manuscritos científicos, seguindo a linha editorial "Justiça, Gestão Pública, Direitos Humanos, Educação e Políticas Públicas".

Processo de Avaliação pelos Pares
Todos os artigos submetidos ao periódico são avaliados por pareceristas que desconhecem os autores dos artigos avaliados e vice-versa. Os artigos são enviados a dois pareceristas e, caso seja necessário, a um terceiro, caso subsista indefinição quanto à aprovação para publicação.
Eventualmente, os artigos poderão ser aprovados sob condições e, nesse caso, serão reenviados aos articulistas para que façam as correções ou alterações recomendadas pelos pareceristas.
Somente são publicados os artigos aprovados por, pelo menos, dois pareceristas.
All articles submitted to the journal are evaluated by reviewers who are unaware of the authors of the articles being evaluated and vice versa. Articles are sent to two reviewers and, if necessary, to a third, if there is still uncertainty regarding approval for publication.
Occasionally, articles may be approved under conditions and, in this case, they will be sent back to the authors so that they can make the corrections or changes recommended by the reviewers.
Only articles approved by at least two reviewers will be published.
Periodicidade
A revista até o seu volume 8 (2010) tinha periodicidade semestral.
A partir do volume 9 (2011), a revista passou a ter periodicidade anual.
A partir do volume 15 (2017) a revista passou a ter periodicidade semestral.
Sempre foi distribuída gratuitamente, em meio impresso e disponibilizada na página da ESMEC.
A partir do volume 13 (2015), a Revista Themis passou a ser editada na versão eletrônica, adotando a plataforma SEER (Sistema de Editoração Eletrônica de Revistas), sem prejuízo da tiragem das edições impressas, pela Editora do Tribunal de Justiça do Ceará.
The magazine was published every six months up until volume 8 (2010).
Starting with volume 9 (2011), the magazine became published annually.
Starting with volume 15 (2017), the magazine became published every six months.
It has always been distributed free of charge in print and available on the ESMEC website.
Starting with volume 13 (2015), the Themis Magazine began to be published electronically, using the SEER (Electronic Journal Publishing System) platform, without prejudice to the circulation of printed editions by the Editora do Tribunal de Justiça do Ceará.
