Violence against women is a complex phenomenon that triggers and persists over time. It bases are based on patriarchy and its connections, so that affects intensity when considering the social markers of race and class, which define how a situation of oppression operates in the lives of people who are targeted by oppression operated by racism and by classism. This is not a new phenomenon, but the implications of the pandemic caused by the new corona virus contributed to an increase in violence against women, causing a significant increase in the number of aggressions of this nature. This explains the vulnerability to which women are exposed in societies whose structures are supported by the perspectives of racist patriarchy. This article was developed from concerns regarding the resurgence of violence against women and the responses offered by States, in many cases, inefficient, especially When considering the scope from the dimensions of race and class in which victims of violence are inserted.
