This paper explores the concept of noise in behavioral economics, investigating random and unwanted variations in decision making. Noise is a relatively new and under-researched area, but has been receiving increasing attention as studies have demonstrated its impact on decision making. An inductive, exploratory, and qualitative approach was applied. It is concluded that a better understanding of noise can help organizations reduce variability in judgments.
